This website
The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking. Fonts and images are served from our own domain.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request in order to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. Cloudflare acts as our data processor.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it to answer you and to follow up on what you ask about. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries, or steps you ask us to take before entering into an agreement (GDPR art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).
Clients and partners
When we work with a brand, or with creators on a brand’s behalf, we process contact details, agreements, invoices and the information needed to run and measure a campaign. The legal basis is the agreement with you or the client, and our legal obligations under Norwegian accounting law (GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c)).
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for. Accounting records are kept for as long as Norwegian law requires, normally five years.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, such as email, hosting and accounting, and only as far as they need it to deliver their service. Some of these providers may process data outside the EEA; where they do, the transfer is covered by the EU standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive it in a portable format. Write to ide@markandmeasure.com; we answer within 30 days.
If you think we handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.no.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, for example by adding analytics or advertising tools to this website, we will update this page first.
